Important Pronouncement!
I have received a very kind and revealing letter from Hylda’s niece, this letter dispels some very sad rumours that have been circulating for many years.
Please take the time to read the letter, which is on the “Letter From Ann” page.
It certainly made me feel better about Hylda’s later years.
The Hylda Baker Fan Club Wishes all its members and visitors the very best during the festering season!

This website is desiccated to my Nana.
I was born at 12 Grosnover Road 1962, 1.4 miles away from the house Hylda was born in…her Grandmothers house………
At 23 Ashworth Street in Farnworth.
By the age of 5 I lost both my parents in very tragic circumstances…and me and my younger sister and older brother were swiftly taken under the wing of our grandmother….Nana.
Sadly she went to the great behind in 1985, and I miss her dearly.
In 1986 we all lost our Hylda, and we have waited for more than 10 years for her to be re-erected, the realisation of the DVD’s has brought back so many memories for me as I am sure it has for you all, also,
as well, too.
