Available for the first time ever on DVD, the rarely seen movie starring comedy legend Hylda Baker in her first big screen role.

SHE KNOWS Y'KNOW is the story of Hylda Worswick, a matriachal mother of a working class family. She and her husband (Cyril Smith) have a bright but dull son. The Smallhopes, a "middle class" family led by Joan Sanderson (of Please Sir and Fawlty Towers fame) have an attractive daughter but things go astray - as they usually do in this situation.

The film is set in the Fifties with it's coffee bars and earnest pop singers. Enjoy the class wars, a good slice of Britain in that era and Hylda strutting her stuff !

Not seen for decades, and now newly restored and re-mastered by Renown Pictures from one of the few surviving prints, this is a comedy legend at the peak of her powers proving too what a fine actress Hylda Baker really was.
 
The format is PAL and the region encoding is 0, so the DVD should be playable on all players that support the PAL format. Picture setting 4:3
